A great date to pencil into your calendars is the return of the Ffestiniog 360 challenge that can be enjoyed from Blaenau Ffestiniog as both an entrant and viewer. The annual event will take place on Sunday 24th May 2015 and will see a number of keen cyclists take to the beautiful route of Snowdonia, which starts and finishes at Blaenau Ffestiniog with event time scheduled to begin at 8:30am. Located in the same vicinity as the Oakley Arms large group accommodation in Blaenau Ffestiniog, Snowdonia, the event is perfect for anyone staying in the area!
This year’s event will take a clockwise route around the familiar ride, which sees entrants enjoy a truly stunning array of scenery whilst working hard to complete the route. The route is estimated to take an average of around 4 hours, with a grand total of 62.14 miles. The money that is raised through this great event is to be pledged to Tŷ Gobaith – a children’s hospice in Conwy, North Wales
Entrants to the competition will be given water, a plaque for entering, along with pre and post ride refreshments that include tea, coffee, Bara Brith. You will be given a t-shirt, plaque for entering and mineral water, while riders will be entered to a mystery prize draw!
