The Llandudno Triathlon will be held on 23rd of June with year, a sea based triathlon, with a Hotel Llandudnoswim in Llandudno bay, cycle around the Great Orme and a run over the Little Orme; offering a decent challenge to any participant. The Wilton Hotel Llandudno offers an ideal place to stay.

The course offers the thrill of the sea swim – with the cycling section based on closed roads around the Great Orme, which is a brilliant route. The run goes along the promenade and over the Little Orme toward the town of Penrhyn Bay – and back again.

The results of the race are recording using electronic chip timing. In 2010, the Llandudno sea triathlon was voted the 220 Triathlon magazine Race of the Year, for less that 500 participants.

Llandudno is the largest seaside resort town in North Wales, sat on fantastic landscape with a spectacular Snowdonia backdrop. There are many hotels lined up along the coast; providing a wealth of places to stay. Participants in the triathlon, if not local, might want to consider taking advantage of the opportunity to explore the beautiful area of North Wales.
