Cadbury Eggsplorers 18th-21st April
This charming Easter themed event, taking place over the Easter weekend, is a perfect one to take the children too. Plas Newydd in the Menai Strait is hosting an Easter trail on the beach. Normal admission price for Plas Newydd. The event will take place between 11am and 4pm.
Easter Craft fair 18th April-19th April
The Easter Craft Fair also takes place in the Easter weekend, situated in Menai Bridge. There will be plenty of stalls to browse bursting with delightful homemade crafts, created by local people in North Wales. It is completely free entry and refreshments will be provided. This fair runs from 10am-4pm on both days.
St David’s Holiday Park Easter Open day 19th April
One of the best Holiday Parks in Anglesey is hosting a wonderful Easter Open Day on the 19th April. Anyone can come down and spend a wonderful day filled with activities. There will be a live brass band, Easter crafts, cakes and Easter themed stalls and plenty of sporting activities such as kayaking and rock climbing. Children will be entertained by face paints and a rodeo sheep. Adults can take the opportunity to browse great luxury holiday deals and enjoy the view.
Anglesey Walking and Cycling festival 17th May
The Anglesey Walking and Cycling Festival is the perfect motivation for getting in shape this spring. It begins in May and goes on until the 1st of June. Making a great transition from spring to summer. Many walks will be arranged that you can take part in to get to know the isle of Anglesey better. There will also be plenty of mountain biking challenges for those who like a bit more energy.
Anglesey Festival of Transport and Machinery 17th May-18th May
Organised by the Anglesey Vintage Equipment Society this is a great event for looking at the history of machinery in North Wales. In addition to all the vintage cars, tractors, horse drawn carts, wartime re-enactments and custom trucks there will be fairground rides and even a beer tent. The festival extends all weekend so it is a perfect event if you are camping in the area. The festival is £8 per person but only £1 for children.
Beaumaris Festival 22nd May-29th May
This famous festival in the beautiful town of Beaumaris is a celebration of jazz, music and theatrical displays. There will be bands, performances, poetry and more dramatic events filling up this quiet seaside town and it makes a wonderful way to fill a May weekend.
