Prestatyn Carnival is back for 2013! The Carnival will feature a host of action packed activities of both a traditional and contemporary nature. All this includes a travelling fun fair, donkey rides, classic car display, trade and charity stalls along with both hot and cold refreshments.

The highlight of the carnival is the Gran Parade that leaves the top of Prestatyn High Street at 12 noon, travelling through the town centre to the carnival field on Bastion Road. Anyone can take part in the parade for free and there is a whole host of competitions to enter. There are great prizes to be won and lots of themes to the competition. The biggest prize is for best costume in the Mayor’s theme. There is a small fee for entering some of the costume competitions.
The carnival field is open from 10am and easily accessed on foot, field entry is free for all, however parking onsite costs just £1 per vehicle. Entertainers and stall holders will receive free designated parking spaces. The Carnival hosts four large arenas as well as a big marquee which offers a full programme of events, competition and modern entertainment, there is even a great big fun fair to enjoy.
