Welcome to our list of the best views in all of North Wales. North Wales is, by all accounts a beautiful location indeed, as such we have put together a list of some of the most beautiful beaches which you can visit when staying at Holiday Parks North Wales.
Please enjoy, explore safely, and respect these magical locations
Porth Wen
Not many know of this amazing location – it has the combination of both an impossibly beautiful natural location as well as an iconic construction. You can spot natural wildlife like wild dolphins over the bay as they jump in and out of the ocean. It’s also the location of the Porth Wen Brickworks, a Victorian-era brickworks in which they would have created bricks from the natural clay deposits of the area. It is now a popular location for people to come and marvel at this characteristically gorgeous architecture. There is also a beautiful sea arch here – a bit of a rarity in the north wales region for sure!
Capel Curig – Llynnau Mymbr
If you take a short jaunt down the valley of Capel Curig, which is known to be one of the wettest places in Wales has an amazing view down the valley towards Snowdon’s iconic horseshoe as well the mountains beyond. It is without a doubt one of the most breathtaking views imaginable, and available to those who decide to walk on the banks of this gorgeous lake. You can even be treated to twice the view – as when the waters of the Llyn stand totally still you can be treated to a perfect mirror image of the mountain view above. 2 Views for the price of one!
Ty Hwnt I’r Bont
This famous tearoom is located on the banks of the Afon Conwy in the town of Llanrwst, you can get a wonderful image of this iconic view from the opposite bank, and it makes for a great photo when paired with its neighbouring bridge. You can also nip in this tearoom for outstanding tea and scones. On a bright and sunny day you can relax by the river with your family or even dog, while you watch the stream float past in a calm and soothing flow.
Cwm Idwal
This iconic view is one of the most memorable and historically significant sites in all of the region. The lake paired with the mountain backdrop makes for a great view – come sunshine or even in the snow and mist. It looks especially beautiful when the tops of the mountain are obscured by a layer of fog! Charles Darwin is recorded to have travelled here during his tour of Wales back in the 1800s.
Menai Bridge
If you head to the town of Menai Bridge on the isle of Anglesey you can be treated to a staggering view of the special suspension bridge after which the town is named for. You can spot this with the towering mountains behind it!
