If you have never visited Caernarfon Castle then it should most definitely be on your list of 
things to do. This spectacular castle is a medieval building that is located within the North West of Wales and has a very prominent and imposing structure that is hard to miss when entering the town. Caernarfon Castle was a replacement for a motte-and-bailey castle that was previous there before it, whereby it was converted into what it is today.
Caernarfon Castle is a major attraction of the town, with a great day out to be had with friend’s family and partners. Once inside, you can learn about the history of the castle, as well as having the ability to tour around the castle and its battlements, which is an extremely interesting experience. Located within the castle is the Royal Welch Fusiliers Museum, inside the Queens’s tower and Chamberlain tower, that is full of interesting exhibits and displays.
Some of the views you will get from the Castle are spectacular, looking over the town and waters, as well as the Castle Walls that housed part of the town in the past. You can walk around the castle walls at ground level and take some fabulous photos. The walls and scenery make for some great backdrops to some great pictures.
