Sitting at home relaxing in your recliner chair thinking about your upcoming holiday to North Wales and deciding where to go is quite a task, as there are so many beautiful and scenic places to visit throughout the region.
When you realise just what North Wales has to offer, you wonder why you would ever want to holiday anywhere else!
North Wales hosts so many wonderful hotels and bed and breakfast accommodation as well as self catering cottages and campsites that cater for each and every one. Once you arrive in North Wales, the next decision is deciding on the wonderful choices of things to do. If you decide to venture out of the seaside resorts such as Llandudno then going out towards Llanwrst and Betws Y Coed you will find signs to Bodnant. The gardens are now run by the National Trust and cover a vast area, the gardens are absolutely stunning and well worth a visit if you are passing through.
Going from there you can go through Llanwrst to Betws- Y- Coed and the
Swallow Falls which are spectacular and not to be missed, the multi level waterfalls on the river Llugwy will entrance you. It may be that you prefer to take the footpaths from Betws Y coed to Llyn Elsi a lovely secluded upland lake. Alternatively you could enjoy the stunning country walks through the Gwydyr Forest which has the historic slate, lead and copper mining associated with it as well as Gwydyr View Holiday Park which a secluded park nestled on the edge of the forest with stunning mountain views.
Then feeling tired but invigorated gently drive back towards the coast through the village of Trefriw with its working woollen mills, I guarantee you will have enjoyed a fantastic day.
Whether you decided, when you were sitting in your recliner chair, to stay in Llandudno or perhaps Conwy the selection of places to eat each evening will impress you.
Having had a nice meal and lots of fresh air you should sleep well and awake the next day refreshed and ready for another day exploring and enjoying North Wales.
