TriathlonBerthlwyde Holiday Park in Conwy County has been filled to capacity with delighted holiday makers this summer thanks to an extended period of wonderful weather.

The holiday park boasts an ideal location in the stunning countryside surrounding Llandudno. Many more tourists will be rushing to book camping in Llandudno with Berthlwyde this weekend as one of Llandudno’s biggest sporting events takes place.
Camping in Llandudno is always a popular option since there are incredible festivals, shows and events taking place in the town throughout the year and particularly in the summertime but Berthlwyde Holiday Park provides the option to stay in the remarkable surrounding countryside instead of the busy town while still being close enough to attend all the biggest events. It is the best of both worlds when you can enjoy a relaxing drink on the deck of your holiday home or luxury caravan overlooking rolling hills one minute and be cheering in the crowds at a vibrant festival the next.

Sunday 26th June plays host to the annual Sea Triathlon in Llandudno. This event brings the town to life with energy every year as spectators line the streets to watch the athletes complete the gruelling challenge of swimming a 1500km distance in the colds waters of the sea then cycling 36km around the steep slopes of the Great Orme then topping it off with a 10km run across the Promenade and Little Orme.

This event is free to spectate and it is an exciting time to be in Llandudno so do not forget to book your Llandudno camping holiday now before time runs out. The first wave of runners will start out at 10:30am so be sure to be there bright and early to catch the best moments of the action. This race will represent the Welsh Triathlon Standard Distance Championship so all the competitors will be pushing themselves to the limit.
