FEATURED BUSINESS' UNDER Walking |
Welcome to our Wales Walking Guide page - This page will help you get started with Walking in Wales. For a comprehensive list of Walking Resources see our Links Directory.
Wales is a great place to walk thousands of miles of mountain paths and quiet tracks. In the North there are many mountains with ranges extending to the coast. If you enjoy scrambling this area is practically a paradise. The South also offers suitably picturesque walks for those who prefer flatter terrain. If you like adventurous walking you could do worse than checking out the BMC British Mountaineering Council
There are various well known mountains in Wales such as Snowdon. Snowdon is a very challenging walk for a new walker but most people could walk to the summit and back in under a day. Wales has great scenery for walks including mountains, hills, fields and general countyside views. Wales is a definete walking destination for anybody who love to walk! |
