The Boatyard Inn is a traditional pub and restaurant, ideally situated in the heart of Bangor and close to all the local amenities..
We are a very popular stopover for visitors to Bangor University. In a delightful location overlooking the Hirael bay and The Menai Straits, we are only 25 minutes from Holyhead by train or car, so we also make an ideal stopover point for travellers to and from the Irish Republic.
Whether you are here for business or pleasure, you can always be sure of a very warm welcome at all times.
We are pleased to offer budget, but very comfortable accommodation. Our single, double and twin rooms are adequately furnished and equipped with, colour television and tea/coffee tray.
In the morning, you can look forward to a choice of Full English or Continental-style breakfast.
Our cosy, friendly bar offers lovingly conditioned, good quality cask ales. There is always a regular on tap, and in addition we aim to have at least two guest ales on offer. We are proud to have consistently received top marks for cellar management and being included in the 'CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2007' gave us a great sense of achievement.
