Llanberis Guides Ltd. is a mountain guides company based in Snowdonia, North Wales, UK. We offer all aspects of rock climbing and mountaineering guiding and instruction, all year round.
The mountains of Snowdonia are amongst the highest, rocky yet most compact in Britain and very near to many major cities. Rock climbing in Wales is over a century old and there are literally thousands of climbs for you to enjoy in summer or winter.
Llanberis is the hub of the North Wales climbing scene; it's tucked right in between the mountains and the sea cliffs, at the foot of the highest mountain in England and Wales, so it's perfectly placed for climbing and mountaineering all year round, and it has some great climbing cafes too!
Llanberis Guides can help you develop your skills, enjoy the mountains and cliffs in safety and discover some of the great nooks and crannies of Snowdonia and Anglesey. You’ll also get loads done in the time available with the help of local knowledge and practised decision-making.
We offer guiding, instruction and coaching at all levels, from mountain walking and beginner rock climbing to guided climbing on famous hard climbs for experts, and all types of mountain training from navigation to improvised rescue and Alpine skills. Snow and ice guiding or instruction is possible whenever conditions allow during the winter months.
